The Saints dominated early, scoring 12 runs in the first inning. Key contributors included Caroline Dippel with a 2-run homer and Luciana Nichols with an RBI single.
In the second inning, the Saints added five more runs, highlighted by Nichols and Millie Albert each driving in two runs. Nichols also claimed the win, allowing no earned runs and striking out five over two innings. The Saints totaled eight hits, led by Cartozian, Nichols, and Albert with two each, and maintained discipline at the plate, earning 12 walks.
